Krystal Marie Ball

 Krystal Marie Ball was born November 24 in 1981. She is an American political commentator. She was a former political candidate, as a host of American television at MSNBC, a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, former host and co-host of The Hill's Rising alongside Saagarenjeti. In May 2021, Ball and Enjeti announced that they were leaving the show in order to release their own independent project titled Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball is a cohost of the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has also appeared as a guest on networks such as CNN, CNBC, Fox News and programs including Real Time with Bill Maher. Ball was married to Jonathan Dariyanani as of 2020. Ball credits her ongoing interest in politics and her experiences as a new mother in the 2008 primaries. She also watched the US presidential election from Jordan while she was working there. She witnessed the impact it had on citizens of her home country and was inspired to appreciate the international impact of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow at the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party candidate for Congress in Virginia's 1st district. She lost to Rob Wittman in 2010. From June 2012 through July 2015, she was host of the MSNBC program The Cycle. She founded the People's House Project, an action committee working for Democratic causes in May of 2017.
