Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki is an American political advisor who worked as the 34th White House press secretary from 2021 until 2022. A part of the Democratic Party, she previously worked in the Obama administration as the White House deputy press secretary (2009) and the White House deputy communications director (2009-2011) and the spokesperson of the United States Department of State (2013-2015) as well as the White House communications director (2015-2017. Psaki was a political contributor for CNN from 2017 through 2020. Psaki started her career in 2001 by working on the re-election campaigns of Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin for the U.S. Senate and Tom Vilsack for governor. Psaki was appointed John Kerry's deputy press secretary in 2004. Psaki was in office from 2005 until 2006 as the communications director for Joseph Crowley, U.S. representative, as well as as the regional press secretary to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. In 2012, Psaki returned to political communications as press secretary for the Obama reelection campaign in 2012. [20] Psaki was named spokesperson for United States Department of State in February 2013. [20] She was hired at the Department of State to fill the White House Press Secretary Jay Carney's position.[21] But, Josh Earnest took his place on May 30,2014. She was recalled to the White House as Communications Director in the year 2015 and was in place until the end.
